  1. I was looking at one of your artifacts and i noticed that you have a statue of yourself in paris. well that is very very grand! i am not sure that i caught the name of the artist who designed the statue. maybe i knew him or her. did you? was it a personal favor or was it given as a gift? i have many portraits of myself in multiple theaters in London, England. As well as an entire house names after me. "The Siddons House" grand isnt it?

  2. The statue is very grand indeed! It was created by the artist Louis Clausade. He was after my time, however, so I did not know him. As I am sure you agree, it is fantastic having your name everywhere?

  3. I've never played any instruments or worked in a watch shop or wrote my own plays, but I have staired in many of fantastic plays! Unlike you I grew up in the upper class, yes somethings were unfair..but i guess thats just life. Mhm..

  4. Mme. Bordoni, I thought you said in a previous post that you did play an instrument. As a man who likes to have things laid out clearly in front of him, would you please clarify: which one is it?

As far as your comment about life being as it is, I find that highly offensive. It is because of the injustices in this world that I have supported the rights of the people to rise up against tyranny. Of course your coming from the upper class of society would dim your view on this issue, but I know from firsthand experience that when the people want justice, it will be done. So I suggest you change your attitude.

  6. Pierre, I have not written a play or worked with watches. Also I like working with the subject matter of history. I do paint landscapes, portraits, ext. The thing is though, unlike you, I do not work on the issues of present times. You said how tried to paint a picture of some of the problems in France at the time, I don't. There's also the fact that I was never a teacher unlike you teaching harp for King Louis XV’s daughters. Which, by the way, seems to have been an amazing experince.

  7. Yes I did say I played an instrument, but i meant my voice not a violin or flute.
